Stocks were able to reach new highs today and interest rates remained the same. I'd say it was a pretty successful day. Since a rate hike wasn't the main topic of discussion during the Fed's meeting, then what was?

Well, the Fed has decided that it will no longer purchase long-term debt, causing some questions as to how the market will react.
